The compression is a powerful 11.2:1; it is recommended to use a high octane petrol. Here too, accurate tuning of the ignition and carburettor guarantee high-air-flow fun for short distances. The original transmission should be replaced by a longer primary drive. For better dissipation of heat we recommend painting the cooling fins black.
Conclusion: Powerful cylinders for the city, strong torque for 2-person use. For long distances or longer stretches at full throttle it is better to use the PINASCO.

Fits all Vespa 50/PK/XL/XL2 models, except PK automatic. The crankdases should be matched to the larger cylinder transfer ports.
SIP-TiP: Adapt the main jet and install a new spark plug, of course. A change of transmission is a must here, at least a 3.00 primary, at most a 2.86, reinforced clutch and/or stronger springs. Racing shaft and carburettor size from 19/ 20mm recommended. A 24 carburettor with intake manifolds would also be good.
