The DELL`ORTO SI 20.20H/24.24H float chamber cover is a special treat and a perfect upgrade for all SI 20-24 carburettors. With its Ø 5.2mm float needle (not included in delivery) it solves the problem of seizing at full throttle.
The DELL`ORTO float chamber cover that has been revised by DRT is also intended for all Vespa riders whose hands tend to get nervous on the clutch during downhill motorway riding. It has a bigger valve as well as a float needle with Ø 5.2mm. The 0.7mm drill hole means enough mix always flows through at full throttle.
On these covers, the supply hole from the float chamber to the main jet should be drilled out from 1.5mm to 1.8mm (PX177) or 2.0mm (PX200).
Conclusion: An excellent upgrade for the original SI carburettor. Ideal for full-throttle steady largeframes.
SIP-TIP: Optimal with the float chamber spacer, part no 9226000 and don't forget the float chamber gasket (part no 922060)! The SIP Fast Flow fuel tap is also a perfect add-on.
