GRAND-SPORT has manufactured race pistons since 2004, and has influenced the Vespa scene like no other. GRAND-SPORT pistons have been acclaimed over the years and have garnered recognition and impressive success at all VESPA race series. When the theme is cast iron cylinders and performance, those in the know go for GRAND-SPORT piston products.

High quality piston alloy with min. 18% silicon is a guarantee for long range durability and without heat siezure. Contemporary design, inner reinforcements and an identical compression height completes the picture. Piston is outfitted with a cutout; for those wanting more, the inner reinforcements allow an even larger maximal opening height and width. Ideal for do it yourself adjustments and tuning.

Above and beyond all this, all GRAND-SPORT pistons are equipped with high quality piston rings manufactured of steel and with a ring thickness of 1,0mm.

Aluminum/ 63.00/ 63.50mm/ 1,0mm piston ring

Aluminum piston, min. 18% silicon, 35mm compression height, suitable pin distance for POLINI/DR, two 1,0mm piston rings made of steel. Please notice: further important and useful tips, additional product info can be found under "article info download". Before installation always control piston play and piston ring stop play and adjust if necessary! Recommended piston play 12 - 14 /100mm.


SIP-TIP: main jet adjustment and new spark plugs are a must. If used in MALOSSI 166ccm cylinders, cylinder must be modified to fit the new compression height. Your reward is max capacity on a MALOSSI basis!
