Forza Quattrini! Wake up and smell the coffee folks! Quattrini "Max" has hit the market with a new cylinder for 125/150 pilots while other manufacturers are still fast asleep. Great news for sporting riders of the smaller PX: a flawless aluminum cylinder with a high quality piston - life can be soooo sweet!


The QUATTRINI M1X MilleMiglia cylinder kit is the newest in QUATTRINI's successful series. Here's where high quality workmanship combines with the performance of a real racing sport product. Their goal: develop a cylinder with the performance of a MALOSSI 166 and the durability of a DR 177. First tests using a modified rotary disc motor with Vespatronic and 28 mm carburetor gave 24.3 PS at the crankshaft... with a P'n'P cylinder straight out of the box! If you're looking for a high quality power packed aluminum cylinder, the M1X MilleMiglia is the right one. Gets an additional edge over most 177ers.

Your motor block should be modified to fit the larger cylinder transfer ports. Cylinder kit has a central spark plug (long thread), needs Cosa 125/ 150 cylinder cowling. This is a dream come true for lots of us: the M1XL is the direct intake version of the 172cc QUATTRINI kit. The 30mm manifold with 4-flaps reed-valve is located directly on the cylinder base. The original crankshaft intake has to be sealed. The direct intake version has an even better performance potential.


Conclusion: versatile performance to match all tuning levels, from dependable touring and commuting up to real quarter mile sprinter.


Aluminum / 62mm Bore / 6 Transfers / 172 ccm

Aluminum cylinder with coated bore, two large divided transfers and two transfers opposite exhaust, centred cylinder head with milled out spherical combustion chamber, central spark plug with long thread, piston with two piston rings.

M1XL: plus 30mm reedvalve-manifold and 4-petal reed valve

Motor periphery should match performance increase.


SIP-TIP: Up to 24 PS possible with 57 mm or 60 mm stroke racing crankshaft, racing exhaust, such as SIP Performance, RZ or SCORPION, 28-30mm carburettor, Tassinari VForce reed valve (part no 27422000) and electronic ignition, such as VESPATRONIC. For those wanting even more power, this cylinder can get you there, but modifications to both cylinder and motor block will be necessary.

Cylinder Kit modified for PX80: We've modified this cylinder kit to fit the smaller casing diameter of the 80er. The original 80ccm crankshaft with 48mm stroke must be replaced with a 125/150ccm shaft from the larger models with 57mm stroke. We also recommend a longer transmission (POLINI/MALOSSI) or a clutch cog with 21-22 teeth.
