Adrenaline pure! Brought to you by MALOSSI 166 cc. The rush takes over in the middle ranges of the 139er's big brother, so hold on tight 'cause this takes flight. And, with a longer transmission, take control of the fast lane on the motorway. Together with the right set up, 130 km/h is yours for sure.

This high quality cast iron cylinder offers 7 transfers, a three-way boost port, ASSO piston with 1.2 mm ring, yes, you can Get Satisfaction. The MALOSSI cylinder head has it's own layout, and is an real highlight with a hearty squish zone and oil ring gasket.

The 20 mm SI carburettor should be replaced with a 24 mm or 28/30 mm carb. A more sporting exhaust like SIP Road, MALOSSI or SITO PLUS and upwards is highly recommended. Round this off with a race or long stroke shaft and a reinforced clutch. If your need for speed is revved up, lengthen your trans with DRT gears, POLINI/MALOSSI transmission or 120er tires. With a little cylinder modification and a larger exhaust, you can take on a 210 and give it a run for it's money.

Conclusion: ok, a little less capacity than the competition, but MALOSSI matches it with pure driving pleasure and real performance! Obviously, this package offers hefty rpm's and the choice of components like crankshaft, clutch and exhaust should match.

 

Cast Iron/ 61 mm Bore/ 7 Transfers/ 166.58 cc's

Cast iron cylinder, 57 mm stroke, three part boost port, piston with 2 trapeze rings à 1.2 mm, original MALOSSI cylinder head included in delivery, gasket set. The casing should be modified to match the new transfer size. Jets and ignition should be checked and optimized.

 

SIP-TIP: A 24 SI, SIP Road race exhaust and a reinforced clutch are a must. A longer transmission, a race crankcase with 57 or 60 mm stroke is recommended. With a race exhaust like SIP Performance, RZ or SCORPION, a 28mm carburettor, and electronic ignition like VESPATRONIC, you can punch out a heftier portion of power. Want to go all the way? Move on up to a reed valve carburettor with modified cylinder and casing.

Cylinder Kit modified for PX80: We've modified this cylinder kit to fit the smaller casing diameter of the 80er. The original 80ccm crankshaft with 48mm stroke must be replaced with a 125/150ccm shaft from the larger models with 57mm stroke. We also recommend a longer transmission (POLINI/MALOSSI) or a clutch cog with 21-22 teeth.
